172SS SCREAMIN SKYHAWK

The 180 up to 200 HP increase for the Cessna 172.  Currently in the experimental/exhibition category.  The powerplant is a LS3 V8 engine that is getting 5 GPH on 87 octane pump gas @ 2500 RPM cruise settings. .  The prop is a fixed pitch prop.  The prop will be available in  a 2 or 3 blade with 3 ground adjust setting of climb, cruise, and speed settings.

Upon certification - the HP will be the 180  HP version.  Advantages of this powerplant are: 87 octane pump gas at 5 GPH efficiency/200 lb increase useful load  increase/longer TBO/quicker overhaul/much cheaper motor options
